Schedule

Classes are held in the art room at The Craftey Alley, Killarney town centre.

During the first three classes, we will go through a step-by-step painting, which will be a landscape from Killarney National Park. We will work from photographs and I will demonstrate each stage, explaining and analysing the techniques I use, which will be a mixture of brush & palette knife. Its then up to each person to try out these techniques, and/or come up with individual interpretations. There's no 'right' or 'wrong' way to paint, and my aim is to share the skills I have acquired along the way and encourage you to practice & develop yours. A lot of it is about gaining confidence and keeping going!

In the last three classes, each person can work on a painting of your own choice, at your own pace, with advice and suggestions offered in a relaxed and friendly way! I have plenty of photos to work from, or you can bring along your own. Alternatively, if the group prefers, we can do another step-by-step painting together.
