5-Day Course Details
Weekly courses run from Monday to Friday at the studio.
Tuition is from 10:00am each day until 2.15pm, with a
break for a light lunch included in the cost. Lunch will
typically be homemade soup with home baked bread, around
12:00 noon.
Tea & coffee are available as required.

Schedule
At the start of
the week, we will go through a step-by-step painting, which will be a landscape
from Killarney National Park. We will work from photographs and I will
demonstrate each stage, explaining and analysing the techniques I use, which
will be a mixture of brush & palette knife. Its then up to each person to try
out these techniques, and/or come up with individual interpretations. There’s no
‘right’ or ‘wrong’ way to paint, and my aim is to share the skills I have
acquired along the way and encourage you to practice & develop yours. A lot of
it is about gaining confidence and keeping going!
In the second part of the week, each person can work on a painting of your own
choice, at your own pace, with advice and suggestions offered in a relaxed and
friendly way! I have plenty of photos to work from, or you can bring along your
own.

Individual Cost for the
week’s course is €320
Group Rate Discount of 10% available for groups of 3 or more.
